Classification of screening machinery
according to the structure and working principle of screening machinery, there are roughly the following categories:

Fixed grid screen is a kind of screen widely used in concentrators, which is generally used for pre screening before coarse crushing or medium crushing. Its structure is simple, and the manufacturer company has a detailed understanding of the impact testing machine. The ore can be directly unloaded onto the screen surface without power consumption. The main disadvantage is low productivity and screening efficiency, which is generally only 50-60%
(2) the working surface of the roller screen is composed of rolling shafts arranged horizontally. There are plates on the shafts, and the fine materials pass through the gap between the rollers or plates. Large pieces of material are moved towards one end by the roller belt and discharged from the end. This kind of sieve is rarely used in concentrators
(3) the working part of the cylindrical screen is cylindrical, and the whole screen rotates around the axis of the cylinder, and the axis is generally installed at a small inclination. Materials are fed from one end of the cylinder, fine materials pass through the sieve hole on the cylindrical working surface, and coarse materials are discharged from the other end of the cylinder
the rotating speed of the cylinder screen is very low, the work is stable, and the power balance is good. However, its mesh is easy to be blocked, screening efficiency is low, working area is small, and productivity is low. Concentrators rarely use it as screening equipment. 1. (4) the plane motion screen body swings or vibrates in a plane. According to its plane motion trajectory, it can be divided into linear motion, circular motion, elliptical motion and complex motion. Shaking screen and vibrating screen aim at agricultural film market, which belongs to this category
the shaking screen is driven by a crank connecting rod mechanism. The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate through the belt and pulley, and the connecting rod makes the machine body move back and forth in a certain direction. The movement direction of the machine body is perpendicular to the center line of the support rod or suspension rod. Due to the swing movement of the machine body, the materials on the screen surface move to the discharge end at a certain speed, and the materials are screened at the same time
compared with the above sieves, the shaking sieve has higher productivity and screening efficiency. Its disadvantage is poor dynamic balance. Now concentrators rarely use it, but are replaced by vibrating screens with more reasonable structures
vibrating screen is most used in concentrators. According to the different transmission mechanisms, it can be divided into the following types: eccentric vibrating screen, inertia vibrating screen, self centering vibrating screen and resonance screen
