Research on the classification of reverse logistics and outsourcing decision-making process (III)
4 reverse logistics outsourcing
4 1 third party reverse logistics [5]
in the face of increasingly fierce market competition, production enterprises should engage in both production and logistics, which makes enterprises somewhat incompetent, because logistics is not the strength of enterprises. This makes the production enterprises have to focus on the core business, and hand over the logistics business such as transportation and warehousing to more professional logistics companies for operation, which can not only improve logistics efficiency but also save logistics costs. This is the third-party logistics, also known as contract logistics or logistics externalization
in China, enterprises that purchase third-party logistics services have less plastic simply supported beam impact testing machines that comply with ISO 179, gb/t 1043, gb/t 2612, jb/t 8762 and gb4742 standards, and there are also very few companies engaged in third-party logistics services, and fewer third-party logistics service companies engaged in reverse logistics. In the United States, the reverse logistics market has developed very rapidly in recent years, and many third-party reverse logistics providers engaged in reverse logistics services have also emerged, as shown in Table 3
4. 2 decision making process
there are many factors that affect the implementation of reverse logistics outsourcing, which can be summarized as external factors and internal factors. External factors mainly include legal and regulatory restrictions, competitive factors, recycling market and second-hand market conditions; Internal factors include the strategy of the enterprise and operational factors. Strategic factors refer to whether reverse logistics outsourcing is consistent with the development strategy of the enterprise, and whether it is in an important position in the development strategy of the enterprise. The operational factors are the influence of enterprise scale, product characteristics, operational capacity, customer service, capital and human resources on reverse logistics outsourcing. Based on the classification of product reverse logistics, this paper puts forward the decision-making process of enterprise reverse logistics outsourcing, as shown in Figure 5
when deciding whether to carry out reverse logistics outsourcing, enterprises should first clarify the reasons for outsourcing. If the laws and regulations stipulate that the enterprise must complete the reverse logistics of products by itself, the enterprise must implement the reverse logistics by itself even if there is no economic benefit, and cannot outsource the reverse logistics. In addition, enterprises should reasonably choose the reverse logistics mode of self operation, outsourcing or a combination of the two according to their own capital and human resources. When making decisions, enterprises also need to consider the situation of competitors and customer needs. When enterprises have the recycling and reuse market of products, and the implementation of reverse logistics is conducive to enterprises to surpass competitors and improve their competitive advantage, enterprises can establish their own reverse logistics system. On the contrary, the reverse logistics management will be outsourced to a third-party reverse logistics provider, which can improve the efficiency of reverse logistics and reduce the cost of reverse logistics. When enterprises decide to outsource reverse logistics, they also need to choose a third-party reverse logistics supplier. According to the classification of reverse logistics of products with a total of 10 times of wiping, enterprises can choose the appropriate third-party reverse logistics provider to outsource their reverse logistics activities
5 conclusion
reverse logistics, as an important part of the supply chain, has been concerned and valued by more and more enterprises. In China, reverse logistics management is almost blank. From the perspective of enterprises, good reverse logistics can not only accumulate product data and provide basic data for prediction and decision-making, but also an important means to maintain customer loyalty. From a macro perspective, a good reverse logistics can effectively use other resources and energy, protect the environment, and is conducive to the sustainable development of economy. Therefore, China should vigorously carry out reverse logistics activities
reverse logistics outsourcing is the best choice for small and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to establish their own reverse logistics system, and it is also an effective method to reduce the total cost of social logistics. Increasing the research and practice of reverse logistics outsourcing has strategic significance for reducing China's high logistics costs
